The project will be proposed as part of the Home Economics curriculum in needy school in Cambodia. The production of fertilizer can be done inside the pail with the help of blue worms. Feeding the worms with vegetable and watering must be done everyday to keep the worms alive. The worms are able to reproduce at a very fast rate.<br />Fertilizers produced by the worms are actually their droppings which can be found above the newspaper layer after 1 month. V-group of Saint Andrew's Junior College has created Vermi with the hope that they can help to achieve environment sustainability by replacing the harmful chemical fertilizers with an affordable organic fertilizer.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Vermi is produced by vermin-composting which requires blue worms and unwanted vegetable. Since Vermi is an organic fertilizer, it will help to maintain and improve the soil quality over time. Vermi will be produce in <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Cambodia</st1:place></st1:country-region> to create employment for the needy women.
