All about Vermi - 18th March 2010

Today Vermi is born. V-group of Saint Andrew's Junior College has created Vermi with the hope that they can help to achieve environment sustainability by replacing the harmful chemical fertilizers with an affordable organic fertilizer.

Vermi is produced by vermin-composting which requires blue worms and unwanted vegetable. Since Vermi is an organic fertilizer, it will help to maintain and improve the soil quality over time. Vermi will be produce in Cambodia to create employment for the needy women. Part of the profit from the selling of Vermi will be given to the needy students in Cambodia to encourage them to go to school or to continue their study in agriculture field.
